Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tenant Protection Scheme (TPS). By subscribing, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:
1. Services Provided
TPS offers non-regulated legal support services, including document preparation, landlord communication, and general guidance on housing disputes. We do not offer legal representation or advice, and we do not attend court on your behalf. Any legal work is carried out by external, independent solicitors where applicable.
2. Registration and Payment
A one-time registration fee of £49 applies, followed by a £10 monthly subscription. All payments must remain up to date for continued access to TPS services.
3. Your Responsibilities
You must provide accurate personal information, including proof of tenancy, identity, and address. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your access to the service.
4. Service Access
Once your registration is complete and documents verified (within 24 hours), you will receive access to your secure member area.
5. Response Times
- Non-urgent matters: Response by end of business day (if submitted before 1pm): Responded to same day (if submitted before 1pm).
- Emergencies (e.g. lockouts): 1-hour response time: 1-hour response.
6. Limits of Service
- TPS provides support only in the following areas:
- Illegal eviction attempts
- Rent disputes
- Unsafe property conditions
- Deposit disputes
- We do not offer legal advice, represent tenants in court, or cover court fees.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Registration fees and previous monthly payments are non-refundable.
9. Data Protection
Your data is handled in line with UK GDPR regulations. We will never share your information without your consent, except where required by law.
10. Amendments
These terms may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of any significant changes by email.
