Want to be in a movie? Grant Burgess, a documentary filmmaker from Portland, Oregon, is looking for people to share their stories on the medicinal use of psilocybin in the area of mental illness and mood disorders, to promote awareness of its potentially world-changing use as a medicine.
“I’m interested in anyone who has treated their mental health condition with psilocybin, anyone who grows or cultivates mushrooms, or anyone who has an indigenous, shamanic, or ritualistic relationship with psilocybin. While it’s not a deal breaker, I would really like to talk with any members who are people of color and/or LGBTQ+. I want to make sure I present this as a human experience rather than purely a white experience.”
If there are enough prospects in Tucson we might be able to persuade him to come to speak at our June 28th meeting.
You can contact him and see some of his film work at grantburgesspdx.com.
